AMER’s first show at Resto Rigoletto, Paris, France. We were pretty pleased with it despite some minor screw-ups. Lots more photos and videos will surface in the next couple days. We have 3 more shows lined up for March and April.

Prochain concert! C’est le 27 mars à la Miroit avec Gasmask Terror, Sectarian Violence et l’autre groupe de Matthias Peur Panique.
Our next show will be at the beloved La Miroiterie with Gasmask Terror, Sectarian Violence and Matthias’ other group, Peur Panique.
We played a really wicked concert last night. It makes the nervousness and stress worth it when a bunch of your friends come out to support you. Thank you! I had a blast at the show then danced my ass off to a ton of German industrial with Mathyld and Blayne at a dark wave night at Le Zorba. The best thing I have learned about the Belleville neighbourhood is that they have a Tofu shop and lots of gorgeous Asian prostitutes.
For punks who want to visit Paris: Pascal of the Louise Mitchels and Et Mon Cul C’est Du Tofu? label website has established a great wiki (kiwi) of concerts, collectives, bands, labels, veggie restaurants, etc.

Amer is recording our demo this weekend so I am listening to a recording of one of our first concerts and I figured I would post it here on on our band tumblr for Amer. It’s crap quality but you get the gist of what we sound like. I also bailed on a show and band practice last week due to getting second degree burns from pouring half a litre of tea on myself (I’m a genius), so I reallllly miss my band. The lyrics to this song came to be when I started to think about allies and enemies in social justice movementsand how shitty it is when people are fake punks who care more about how their punk scene perceives them, than about what changes they are actually making themselves.

Loma Prieta recently released I.V., their Deathwish debut and possibly their best album yet, followed by tours of Australia with Raein and New Zealand with Parents. Drummer Val Saucedo took some time after those tours were over to answer a few of our questions concerning all things Loma Prieta in 2012.
